|Well this weekend was supposed to be a superfast 10m +25m events but it didn't happen ,saturdays 10 on the V718 was cancelled due to roadworks ,Thanks Jez for the phone call I only got as far as J5 M42 so it saved me a few quid and a wasted journey ,shame as the weather was alright apparently .
Sundays trip down to Port Talbot was by myself as Eddie was under the weather and Pete had family commitments due to road works on the Heads of the Valleys road this meant a 5.45 am alarm call and a 6.15am start to the drive as I was off at 9.30 am as I went further south the darker it got and the more wind got up so chances of a new PB went out of the window .
45.51 ;-Hamish Bond ;-Aero coach
56.56 ;-Steve Mountford ;-SCC

The Winners never seem to slow down I don't know how they do it whilst meer mortals just go backwards .I was put in the overflow event initially not to happy but at the end of the day I think i'd got the better of the conditions even though I could only manage 40mph on the fast downhill start with crosswinds it was very buttock clutching I can tell you !!!!!!! I finally finished 15th out of 87 riders .
I must go FASTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
