I am pretty sure Mick B did quicker than a 53 on the K16 in 1972/73

Hasn't Rob Gill held the '25' record for a long time now with that '53'? The Benn? na Guy, he'd have needed somebodies wheel to follow to go quicker than a '53' Wink

The day we talked about before. Cottington 50.47. Bayton 51.49 etc. Comp record went and was then not allowed as Bayton was the minuyte man. Didn't Mick do a 52 then or at least a short 53?

Maybe Hallam did the better ride - one of the best ever TTs. Testers versus World Class trackies versus top roadmen.

yes it was a rather unique event at the time with all sorts of riders from different facets of the sport. I remember that 2 weeks earlier, on the same course I went about 10 seconds faster than the day in question, but then the following weekend was supposed to be the National Madison champs at Salford Park, and typically got rained off, so the following week all the trackies were that bit 'fresher' or in my case - 10 seconds fatter. The club had some quick young lads in the late 80's eh? and then there was Matt Norman, Richard Evans, strong riders in true Solihull tradition!

As there is no 5 time, I will take last years fastest and that will be the club 5 record.

So the proud owner is :

Eddy Priddy - 11.14

If there is a faster time from previous years, then can someone let me know.

A list of all the know club records will be made available soon.

No he wasn't. I am sure that Mark Paveley has some quick 5 times from the late 80's.....as does Rob Langley, Matt Norman, Gary Chapman, Steve York.....but those times were on different courses.

I am sure I did a long 9 somewhere but just can't find the proof Wink
