Hi All,

Just so your all aware of the club silverware up for grabs this year, here is a list of things you can win.
Also winners of the racing trophies receive a free dinner at the club dinner & prize presentation night in Jan 2010!!

Vets Road Race Champion…….Awarded to the Vet with most points out of 7 Races. Points score 10 for 1st place, 1 for 10th place. National Championships [BC or LVRC] count double.

*Club Road Race Champion…….Open to any Club cyclist who competes in open road race events. Awarded to he or she with most Points. Points score 10 for first, 1 for 10th place.

*Ladies BAR………………………Awarded to the lady with the best average speed over 10, 25 and 50 mile Time Trials.

*Gents BAR……………………….Awarded to the gentleman with the best average speed over 25, 50, 100miles and 12hours Time Trials.

*Best Magazine Article…………. Awarded by Committee decision for the most original and informative work published in AWheel.

*Marshalling Trophy………………Awarded to the most helpful Marshall over the year.

*Official of the Year……………….Awarded by the Club Chairman to the person who, in the Chairman’s opinion, has made a significant impact to the running of the club.

*Cyclo Cross Champion………….Awarded to the person achieving the highest position in the West Midlands Cyclo Cross League.

*Vets Cyclo Cross Champion……Awarded to the Vet achieving the highest position in the West Midlands Cyclo Cross League.

*Most Improved Youth Rider……..Awarded to the rider who, in the Coaches opinion, has showed the most improvement in his cycling (not necessarily on outright performance).

*Most Promising Junior Rider [16 to 18years]……Awarded to the person who, in the coaches opinion, is most likely to flourish as they mature.

*Hill Climb Trophy…………………Awarded to the winner of the Club Hill Climb.

*5 Mile Time Trial Trophy…………Awarded to the winner of the Club 5 mile TT

*10 Mile Time Trial Trophy………..Awarded to the winner of the Club 10 mile TT

*25 Mile Time Trial Trophy………..Awarded to the rider with the fastest 25mile TT time.

*Touring Cup……………………….Awarded to the Rider who has made the most significant touring rides in the year.
