1961 Beacon RCC Little Mountain Time Trial

Beacon RCC, has recently shared a video that might appeal. Back in 1961, a cinefilm was made of the Mountain Time Trial. Then, in 1996, to celebrate the club's 50th anniversary, a 'modern' video of the event was made. The two recordings were later packaged into one digitised whole, and we arranged for Eurosport commentator and Beacon legend Dave Duffield to provide commentary. The end product is technically a bit ropey, but that only adds to its historical appeal.
