How Does it work?
Get a Race Partner
You will need to pair up with another Rider in order to compete
You will both need to be wearing a helmet (no TT helmets**), be on a road bike (no clip on Tri bars or disc wheels) and both of your bikes will need to be equipped with a front and rear light
The Prizes are based on your combined age and there are prizes for both genders and mixed gender pairings too!
** no visors or helmets that cover your ears or Giro Aeroheads
Sign On
We open sign on at the Bulls Head in Earlswood - Location here - B94 6BU - From 5.30PM
Its first come first served and spaces do go quickly
It cost £10 per pair to enter and all the money goes to the BRAKE road safety charity
You will get one number per pair and the number corresponds to your start time past 7pm on the night e.g. Number 35 sets off at 7.35pm
Your Race
It starts from outside the Church on Spring Lane B4101
You then head west and go under the A435 and turn around at the Beoley Lane roundabout
Then Race back towards Hockley Heath but turn left onto Cut Throat Lane and back towards the sign on
The finish line is just before the junction with Warings Green RD
Please DO NOT stop and attempt to get your time it wont be given to you - Head back to the pub and wait it should be no longer than 10 mins
Remember!
You MUST finish as a pair - your time will be taken once the second rider crosses the finish line
Remember to shout out your number when you do cross the line!
You need a helmet and lights!
Have fun and come back to the pub for the prize Presentation afterwards - hopefully should be wrapped up by 8.30PM
