time trials and hill climbs

Solihull CC has a long tradition in time trialling with previous local and national champions. 

We offer, throughout the summer months, a comprehensive time trial program open to club members and guest riders to have a go at, on various different courses and different distances

For 2024 we are holding are 15 club events with TT distances ranging from 5-50 miles as well as 3 hill climb events. We have tropies to award to the winners of our Club Championship 5, 10, 25 & Hill Climb event. 

Trophies can only be awarded to members who note Solihull as a first claim club & have been a member for over 6 months prior to the competition date. 

For 2022 onwards to compete in a CTT sanctioned time trial you must use a helmet & your bike must have a front & rear light that works at the point that you set off.

The Innagural year of the Bas Francis Road Bike Trophy 

A Handicapped league of road bike only Time Trials run by various midlands clubs throughout May and June - there will be only one winner so is handicapped by age as well as gender, so everyone competes on a level playing field.

Even though we offer card payment alongside cash at the start of 2024 please endeavor to pay with cash at events not held by Solihull 

Any Competitors under the age of 18 wishing to compete must first fill in a parental consent form for club events. Our events are open to all competitors provided they are at least 12 years old. Sign on will open 1hour before the event starts at the location linked under each course. 

Sign on will close 10 minutes before the first rider sets off.
